Getting started

Open AppSpend Sentinel under Apps in your Shopify admin.
App register: add each app you pay for: who bills you (Shopify bill or the vendor's card), price, trial end, renewal date and the most you want to pay per month.
Billing inbox: forward billing emails (Pro), paste them, upload .eml files, or import the CSV from Settings > Billing > Past bills > Export bills.
Settings: set the reminder email, your monthly budget for all apps and how many days before a trial end or renewal you want to hear from us.

Will the app cancel an app for me? No. Shopify gives no way for one app to cancel or refund another. AppSpend Sentinel reminds you in time, shows where to cancel and records your proof.
Why does an app still charge me after I uninstalled it? Two common reasons: usage charges from before the uninstall land on the next Shopify bill, and apps that bill you directly (for example Klaviyo) keep their plan until you cancel it in their own billing page.
How do I get a refund for a Shopify-billed app? Refunds for app charges are handled by the app developer: Shopify admin > Settings > Apps > the app > Get support. Send the packet from AppSpend Sentinel. If the developer does not resolve it, contact Shopify Support with the same packet.
An email was not recognised. It is kept in the billing inbox. Add the charge by hand in the ledger and send us the email (without personal data) so we can teach the parser.
How do I delete my data? Remove items in the app, or uninstall: all data of your store is deleted 48 hours after uninstall.
